This is a Tutorial I put together by requests for a few S.A members on how to make there portables work on all Pc's.
Sorry I took a bit longer to put this tut together but I have been struck down with the flu its a bad one whew!! anyways here it is now.
Hope its ok......was on alot of meds fly-in like a kite take me higherrrrrrrrrrrr yowwwwweeeeeeeeee! lol alright here we go now.
This video tutorial will show you how to make your own portables using a program called ThinApp which is also included in this download.
The video will show you step by step on how to prepare your system and what you should know on how to use and create working portables
that will not only run on your system but on others as well.
I have covered everything you need to know from start to winrar-ing your portable the proper way so it can be uploaded to your file host
service and S.A. including some short-cuts and tips to make more simple.
I have also included Thinapp v.4.0 in this tutorial so you can start making your own portables right after watching the video Tutorial.
I also included Power ISO v.4.5 as this is a good ISO program for burning and mounting ISO files a must for games and larger files.
You may how-ever decide to use your own software these are just an optional extra.
I hope this tutorial will help not only the members who know how to use ThinApp but to help new members learn as well.

I did the best I could with what I had to work with and hope this helps some memmbers with the issues they were having as I was told.
I know there are many other ways to do portables but this tutorial is meant to be an easy front door approach that I can say after you watch it
you will be able to not only make a portable....but ones that will work on other pc's 100% of the time.
Note:
There are some times factors that cannot be solved in the making of all portables its a touch and go trial and error learning time.
so keep this in mind when you first start off but for the most it's very simple once you learn it.
One thing I can say with 100% is that those who did not know how or what a potable was before will be making them within 2 hours after watching this
desk-top video captured tutorial with the aid of my nararation and pointing and zooming software I used to create it.

so I over dubbed it with one music song with visual effects just to end the tutorial off ok.

Install:
Un-rar
Drag or extract the video file to your Hard-drive and Play with any MediaPlayer of your preference.
The 2 programs are optional just do the same as with the video.
The programs come with full install and easy serial txt file to register no cracks just the way I like them.
You can choose not to use them and get the latest versions or what ever you prefer these are just optional to get you started ok.
Done.
All software bundled in this Tutorial was Tested clean with (AVAST AVG) (SPYBOT SPY SWEEPER) and checked for RootKit as well all came up clean
Have been using these 2 programs for 1 or more years now with no problems.

Thanks to all I tried the best I could have done alot better.
If the volume seems too low play it with the free KMPlayer you can get it for free I forgot to normalize the volume sorry you can hear it but its low at times sorry about that not myself today.
I will do a better one when I am well and it will have more detail about other things as well.

The program is called Camtasia Studio v.5 you can get it from S.A just type it in the search engine you will find it no problem.

Hello and thank you too all for your kind support of the work and efforts I try to put into my uploads here at S.A.
I have noticed a few members were discovering some difficulties with understanding how to upload an article to Softacrhive.net.
And for new members I just thought it would be of some help if there were a small video tutorial to show you how one uploads an article to S.A.
I am no pro myself but I will show you the basics of how to create and upload a complete post to the best of my abilities.
I would explain the whole process from start to finish and would provide some simple templates that I have already created with note pad so you could see first hand how easy it is once you watch the video then read see the original post in its coded form.
I would also answer some of the questions to why a post could be re-jected and how to make your articles work within the proper guidelines of S.A rules.
Remember that each article be it video to graphic games software or music each have there own set of rules and guide lines that must be met in-order for them to make it onto the main page.
I would also talk you through the whole process in very easy to understand steps.
This would also include how to rar your files using win-rar and what you need to add to the archive name in order to ensure it gets uploaded not only too what ever file hosting provider you use but to keep in line with the S.A name that must be suffixed to it.
So if any members or new members would like me to do a tutorial that covers this subject matter.
Please leave me a PM or leave a short simple comment here saying YES this would be helpful thank you.
If I get enough replies saying yes meaning at least (20 members) to do this tutorial then I will make one and post it on S.A as soon as I get 20 requests or more.
I hope this helps and I will reply back to those who PM me asking for help I don’t mind I like helping people out its good to see others posting on S.A and I would like to help you to get to this point as easy as I can show you.

and yes there are many forums on the net about making portables with thinstall and other programs simular to it just google it and type how to make portables or how to use Thinapp or VMWare there is alot of information on this topic that leads to even more then just portables give it a search and you will be amazed.
